Frank Tallerico

Mario "Frank" was born in Pentone, a beautiful little town in Calabria, Italy. As a boy, he began studies to become a priest – but then changed his mind. He immigrated to Canada in 1949 and held 17 different jobs in his first year, eventually deciding to establish and grow an independent milk delivery business. Mario returned to Pentone in 1959, where he met and married Francesca Malfa. Mario loved spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening, animals, photography, taking walks outside, writing his daily journal on the computer, and he could fix anything. He was very independent, hard-working, compassionate, stubborn and kind.

Mario was a loving father to Teresa (Roman), Eugenio and Cinzia, beloved grandfather to Rosamaria and Joanna Melnyk, and devoted son to Eugenio Tallerico and Teresa Critelli. Mario is survived by three brothers, Antonio (Rosina), Nicola (d. Maria) and Michele (Gina), many brothers- and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
