Born on August 1, 1928 in Vnorovy, Morava Czech Republic. Passed away peacefully on August 24, 2011 at the age of 83 with family at his side. Beloved husband of Leah of 58 years. Dear father of Tony (Maxine), Liz, Joseph (Patricia), Paul (Leanna), Chris (Jennifer) and Ted (Pam). Loving grandfather of Julianna, Jennifer (Ian), Marysa,Nathanael , Peter and Mark, Katrina, Michael, Matthew, Sarah and Stephen, Alexandra, Madelaine, and Benjamin, Michael, Nicholas, Hannah, and Andrew. Predeceased by granddaughter Jacqueline and Angeline. A special thank you to all the staff in the Continuing Complex Care Unit at the Brampton Civic Hospital.
Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. S, (Hwy 10) Brampton on Friday, August 26 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 10:30 a.m.
at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 66a Main St., Brampton. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery
