Frank C. Szoke

January 11, 1952 – November 10, 2023

It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to Frank, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at Humber River Regional Hospital at the age of 71 with his loving wife, son, and daughter by his side.

Frank was born in Novi Sad, Serbia, and he came to Canada in 1957 with his parents to start a new life as a young boy. He worked hard to learn a new language and had many successes as a young man including learning how to work on and program computers when they were just being introduced. He met the love of his life Judith in Delhi while they were just teenagers working on the family's farm. He lived a full and wonderful, a be it far too short life and was always looking out for those around him especially his children and his family. He was a hard worker and a fighter for all things he loved and cherished. This he continued in his last years as he fought a hard battle with cancer all the way to the very end.

Survived by his loving wife, soul mate, and best friend of 55 years Judith, with whom he celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in September 2023. Beloved father of Frank (Nikki) and Kristina (Chris). Cherished grandfather of Lexi. He was a loving son and brother, predeceased by his parents Ferenc and Gizella (nee Mago).

Cremation took place privately and a service was previously held with family and close friends.

A Memorial Funeral Mass to honour his life was held on Tuesday December 5th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 432 Sheppard Ave. E., Toronto, ON. and a reception was held following the Mass in the church hall.

As an expression of sympathy, donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church or the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

The family thanks everyone for their continued love and support.
