Franco Sestito

November 01, 1957- January 28, 2026.

It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Franco Sestito.

God called Franco Sestito at the age of 68. Franco will be lovingly remembered for his great love for the outdoors in Northern Ontario, for its beauty, simplicity, and solitude. He was a reassuring presence and pillar of strength for his sons and family. Franco’s great smile, free spirit, and unmistakable sense of humour will be missed by family, relatives and his large circle of friends in his community. Franco’s legacy lives on in the memories, laughter, and love he shared so generously.

Franco was a loving father to Stephen, Andrea and Mark. A beloved son to Rosina and a wonderful brother to Ferdinando (Roberta), Antonio (Franca), Filomena, and Anna (Paul).

He is predeceased by his father, Nicodemo. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Rest in peace Franco. We love you.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in memory of Mr. Sestito would be appreciated by the family.
