Franco Dileo

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Francesco “Franco” Dileo on May 11, 2026, at the age of 84.

Franco is now reunited with his beloved wife, Antonietta. Loving father of Pasquale (Tina), Mimma, and Tony (Denise). Proud and devoted Nonno of Marco and Isabella. Dear brother of Caterina, Elenora, and Giuseppina. He is predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Domenica, and his sister, Elisabetta.

Franco will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was a kind, loving, and generous man whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family and feeding those he loved. Whether tending to his garden, making homemade bread, pizza, or fresh pasta, Franco expressed his love through food, laughter, and togetherness. His home was always filled with warmth, delicious meals, and welcoming hospitality.

Franco will be remembered for his loving heart, his generosity, and the joy he found in bringing his family together. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 at 9:30am am at St. Margaret Mary Church. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
