Franceschina (Franca) Stefani (née D'elia)

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Franca Stefani on July 10th, 2021. Born in Sambiase (Calabria), Italy on March 18, 1947, she arrived in Canada in 1976.

Franca will be eternally loved by her husband Bruno, and forever cherished by her daughter Elvira and son Arthur. She is beloved nonna to her 4 grandchildren: Isabella (Elvira), Mila (Arthur), Stefano (Elvira), and Francesca (Arthur). She is now reunited in heaven with her parents Vincenzo and Angela and her sister Catarina.

A tireless mother, Franca was extremely devoted to her family. She adored children and spent over three decades caring for babies and children as if there were her own. She was a passionate gardener, who loved spending time outdoors and on picnics with family.

Those who knew Franca will never forget her positivity, kindness and gentle demeanor. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends for her generosity of spirit, always giving of herself, and never expecting anything in return.

We wish to extend our most profound gratitude to the staff at Hospice Vaughan for their dedicated and compassionate care they provided during her last few weeks.

In lieu of flowers, should you wish to donate, kindly forward to Hospice Vaughan.

Rest in peace Mamma.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the service and cemetery committal will be private.

We thank you for your understanding and encourage you to provide your condolences to the family through this memorial page.
