Frances Ann Kerr

Affectionately known as "Mama" or "Sunshine", passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026 at the age of 87.

Born in Hanover, Jamaica, Frances later immigrated to Montreal before settling in Toronto, where she built her life and raised her family.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Frances is lovingly remembered by her children Avia, Marlene, Marcia, Randy, Debbie, and Andrew, as well as her beloved grandson, Jason, whom she raised as her own son.  Family was at the heart of France's world, and she cared deeply for those around her.

Frances had an unshakable passion for music, cooking and the joyful company of family and friends.  She was strong, loving, courageous and outspoken - a no nonsense woman who lived her life on her own terms and never hesitated to speak her mind.  Her faith was central to her life, and she remained a God-fearing woman until her final days.

Frances's legacy of strength, love and resilience will forever live on in the hears of those she touched.
