Peacefully at the age of 98, Florence Harrison passed away at the Vera Davis Centre in Bolton, Ontario on Saturday, May 28, 2011.
She is lovingly remembered by her sister Barbara White and family, nephew Rowland More, and her many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to her compassionate care givers and the staff at the Vera Davis Centre. Florence was an avid gardener and quilter, and tireless volunteer. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends, and her extended families of the United Church in Cannington, Agincourt, and Orangeville. Memorial gifts may be made in her honour to World Vision. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home- Woodbridge Chapel 4671 Hwy. 7 Woodbridge (Just west of Pine Valley Dr.) 905 851 9100 on Monday from 6-9p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 11a.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Knox United Church Cemetery.
