Florence Cooper

Cooper, Florence Kathleen May passed away at Fairhaven Nursing Home, Peterborough, ON, on October 5th, 2013 in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband James Alexander Cooper (1989) and son Gary (2006). Cherished mother of Joan McNeil (Paul), Norma Sherman (Raymond), Gloria Hawe (late Fred) and daughter in law Mary. Dear Nan of 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Loving sister of Bet Edmonds and Michelle Ware. Predeceased by her great-great grandson and sisters Margaret Gauthier and Hilda Hamilton. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. The family is grateful for the care shown to her by the compassionate staff of Fairhaven Nursing Home. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m . A service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m . with a reception to follow the service in the Weston Room. Interment at Prospect Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer`s Society would be greatly appreciated.
