Flaminia Cioci

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Flaminia Cioci at Southlake Hospital on Friday, August 10, 2018; at the age of 84. She is now reunited with her late husband Silvio Cioci. Beloved mother to Julie (Tony), Olga, and Sandra (Dario). Cherished grandmother to Silvia, Silvio, Gabriel, and Joshua. Dear sister to Fernanda, Hugo and the late Maria, Italo, Nino and Bruno. Missed by her furry constant companion, Benny. Flaminia was an independent and dedicated family person. She cherished her grandchildren, loved baking and going to work at the casino. She also enjoyed tending to her Riverview garden. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. Special appreciation is extended to the nursing staff of CICU at Southlake Hospital for their compassionate, exceptional care. Visitation will take place at Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge) on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Margaret Mary Church (8500 Islington Avenue, Woodbridge) on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
