Fitz Layne

It is with deep sorrow, the Layne family announces the passing of Fitz Gerald “Speed” Layne who departed this life on Thursday 4thOctober, 2012 at the age of 62. Fitz will be forever cherished by his wife of 23 years Sonia Layne; his children Anthony , Thea , Kwame , Keturah (Yoko) , Kellon , Kenrie , Indira , Kevin , Kelisha , Julius and Kelrie; and many grandchildren. Fitz was the son of Norma and Aaron Layne( both deceased) and the beloved brother of Beulah, Errol, Maureen, Desmond, Valerie and Donna. He was a wonderful uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a loyal friend to many. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home Toronto Chapel at 2035 Weston Rd, Weston, ON, M9N 1X7 for viewing on Friday October 19th from 5:00pm – 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Bethlehem United Pentecostal Church at 1 Leswyn Rd , Toronto ,ON on Saturday, October 20th at 10:00am.
