George, Evelyn (nee McArthur)1931 – 2011 - passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Humber River Regional Hospital. Beloved wife of William "Carlton". Devoted mother of Lennox, Lynette, Cherril, Waveney, June, Jacklyn, Pixie, Eon, Denise and Simone. Adoring grandmother of 20 and great grandmother of 2. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Thursday, May 12th from 5-9 p.m. and on Friday, May 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Stephen, 2259 Jane Street. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery and Mausoleum. Reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society.
