SCORNAIENCHI, Eugenio
It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Eugenio Scornaienchi at the age of 92. Eugenio passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 4th, 2023 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Beloved husband of Marianna for 59 years. Cherished father of Antonella and Emanuela (Carlo). Sadly missed by his grandsons Nichlas, Matthew, Alexander and his little angel Grace.
Predeceased by his parents Sante and Angela (nee Filice). Cherished brother of the late Mario (Maria), the late Assunta (the late Giuseppe), the late Giovanni (Luigina), the late Giuseppe (Maria), Michele (Annamaria) and Rosina (Ruggiero). Loving brother-in-law to Gaetano (Marge), Rita (Domenico) and Lucia (Ignazio). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Eugenio was born in Donnici Inferiore, Calabria, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1959. In 1964, he returned to marry the love of his life. Together they embarked on their next journey which brought them to Toronto, Mississauga and finally Brampton where they both worked hard to build a wonderful home and life not only for themselves but most importantly for their children and grandchildren.
He will be forever remembered for his devotion to his family, his strong work ethics, his love for plaid shirts, his quick wit, his humour and for his truly immense love for his grandchildren.
Eugenio will be remembered always and forever for his kind heart and gentle soul.
