Errol Ramberan

It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Errol (Jim, Jimboy) Ramberan, on Tuesday June 3, 2025 at Brampton Civic Hospital. Beloved husband of his childhood sweetheart, Sonia for 51 years. Loving father of Sherry (Michael), Brian (Todd), Darlene (Irwin), and Gina (Anthony). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Andre, Lauryn, and Aria. Survived by sister Lynda and by nephew Andre (Laurie).

He was considered a doting father to many, especially to his family and friends. Errol grew up in San-Fernando, Trinidad. He loved his culture and was a lover of steel pan music, and was a member of Teenage Symphony Steel Orchestra.

He immigrated to England at the young age of 17 before moving to Toronto, Canada in 1970. Errol started his career in Canada working at CN Rail occupying various positions. He enjoyed playing soccer with the Antilleans soccer club and liming with his friends from the Caribbean. In his retirement, Errol enjoyed travelling the world with his loving wife, Sonia, to places such as Egypt, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Caribbean.
