Eric Mahony

Passed away with his family by his side, at Post Inn Village in Oakville on
May 10, 2015, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Audrey, for 71 years. Loving father of Donald (Nancy), Robert (Janice), James (Yvonne). Cherished grandfather to David (Tina), Scott (Cheryl), Timothy (Stephanie), Michael (Faith), Kevin, and Melissa. Great grandfather to Alexandra, Sarah, and Chase. Eric served as a pilot in WWII. He had a long association with Standard Life, having been branch manager in Saint John, Calgary, and Toronto. Eric was actively engaged with Life Underwriters, and Life Managers. He was a tireless worker with Kinsmen, and belonged to Oakville Probus. Eric was an avid golfer, and enjoyed hockey. He lived for many years in Ennisclare on the Lake community in Oakville. Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Ward Chapel on Thursday May 14, 2015 at 11am, followed by a reception. There will be a private interment. Thank you to the Linden Avenue staff at Post Inn Village for their wonderful care of Eric. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by Eric’s family.
