In loving memory of Enrichetta Colecchia

On Monday, August 4th, 2025, Enrichetta Colecchia passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy and deep devotion to her family and traditions. Her warmth and spirited personality touched all who knew her.

A gifted cook, Enrichetta's kitchen was the heart of her home. She found joy in preparing meals for her loved ones, with recipes that nourished both body and soul. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she took great pride in setting up the nativity scene-an expression of her faith and love for the season.

She was the proud and loving mother of three amazing daughters, Linda (Romeo), Anna (Vince), Lisa (Paul), whom she guided with strength, kindness, and unconditional love. Her six grandchildren Vanessa (Anthony), Matthew (Stephanie), Adriano (Bianca), Luca (Selina), Cristina (Lorenzo) and Nicholas were her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Enrichetta had a zest for life that was evident in everything she did. She was a passionate sports fan, with a special place in her heart for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Win or lose, she always stood by them cheering them on.

Her generous heart, joyful presence, and unwavering love will be deeply missed. Enrichetta leaves behind cherished memories that will live on forever in the hearts of those she loved.

As her daughters, we will forever feel the absence of her presence. She was our safe place, our cheerleader, our source of comfort and laughter. Her wisdom, her warm heart and the sound of her voice will echo in our hearts every day. There are no words to describe how deeply we will miss her-our beautiful mother, our greatest gift.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 11, 2025 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish (150 St. Francis Avenue, Woodbridge) at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
