Passed away after a full and well lived life on Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at the Village of Humber Heights in her 90th year. Loving wife of Ernst for 65 wonderful years. Beloved mom of Marnie, Rhona and Ed (Shelley). Cherished Oma of Kristina, Andrea, Kurtis, Leah and Nolan. Dear sister to Edith, Horst, Trudy and predeceased by Elizabeth, Albert, Berta and Ed. Emily will be forever loved and fondly remembered by her extended family and friends here and in Germany. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to L’Arche Daybreak or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Village of Humber Heights for their compassionate care over the past few years.
