Elvira Zarrello

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Elvira Zarrello on Thursday, October 23rd at the age of 96.

Born in San Marco Argentano, Italy, on October 30th, 1928, Elvira lived a full life defined by strength, kindness, love and an unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Proud mother of Adelaide (The late Gabriele Ceccarelli), Maria (Mario) and Giovanna (The late John Conforti). Cherished Nonna of Joe (Nicole), Angie (Darren), Angela (Pietro), Diana (The late Tom Cacic), Maria (Jason), Diana (Russ), Elena, and David (Alexis) and her great grandchildren Julia, Gabriel, Justin, Christian, Anthony, David, Adam, Andrew, Sarah, Julia, Jason, Maddy, Gabby, Ben, Brady and Johnny, who will cherish her memory and continue to be inspired by the examples she set.

At 96, Elvira had seen nearly a century of change, but what never changed was her belief in kindness, laughter, music, and the power of family. She embraced change, always meeting it with grace, wisdom and an open heart.

She will be dearly missed, but we will carry her lessons and love with us, always.

Elvira will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generosity, and the countless lives she touched throughout her long life.

Her legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
