November 9,1957- April 22, 2025
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew, and we will always wonder why.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you have not gone alone, for part of us went with you the day you were called you home. If love could have saved you, you would never have died.
ELSIE McIntyre, affectionately called “Mouchou”, was born in St. James, Jamaica on November 9, 1957.
Mouchou was a jovial soul who loved to make everyone happy but let's be fair, she was also quick, witty, and filled with an abundance of colourful words should you mash her corn or approach her with nonsense.
Her infectious laughter often made others present in the room laugh even if they didn't know the real reason behind her laughter.
On Tuesday April 22, 2025, she peacefully passed, at the age of 67. She is survived by her birth children Godfrey, Yournie and Keisha, her additional children Devon, Tony, Peter and Shawn, her 25 grandchildren and counting, 7 great- grandchildren, 2 great -great grandchildren, her sister Harlene, her best friends Joan, Mavylet and Elaine, her god sons, her aunts and uncles, her nieces and nephews, her cousins and friends.
She lived a selfless life. Elsie touched so many lives, even those of the people that never had the chance to meet her.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 16 from 4:00 pm - 8:00p.m. at Ward Funeral Home Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N 1X7
Forever loved, always remembered
Sleep on Elsie, sleep and take your rest.
