BROOMER, Elizabeth “Betty”
Peacefully on Sunday July 24th, 2011 at West Park Long-Term Care Centre, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Harold Broomer (1977). Loving mother of Anne (Mario) and Heather (McKenly). Dear sister of Don McLean (Kay). Predeceased by her brothers Lachie and Peter. Remembered by her sister-in-law Dorothy . Betty will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Anne and Heather would like to extend to West Park Long-Term Care Centre their heart-felt thank you for their outstanding care and compassion.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Wednesday from 7-9pm.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday July 28th, 2011
at 11:30am. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
