It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mom after a courageous battle for life on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Kincardine Hospital at the age of 87 surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Geoffrey (1971). Loving mother of Philip (Betsy), Bob (Donna) and Dave (Mimi). Cherished Grandma of Geoffrey, Chris, Danielle, Lindsay, Matthew, Krista, Elizabeth, Theo, Jessica, Hilary and Max, and nine (9) great grandchildren. Dear sister in law of Betty Monk and cousins John and Sarah West of England.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Monday, June 12 from 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, June 13 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. A memorial service will also be held in her hometown of Kincardine on June 25th from 1-3 at the Canadian Legion. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
