In Loving Memory of Elena D’Acunto (née Tamburro)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Elena D’Acunto (Tamburro), who was born December 26, 1939 in Formia Lazio, Italy. She passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, at the age of 86.

She was the beloved wife of Giovanni D’Acunto, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together, they raised two wonderful, hardworking sons, Giuseppe and Roberto, who were her pride and joy. She was also a loving mother-in-law to Domenica, whom she cherished as her own. Elena was a proud and devoted grandmother to Johnny (Melissa), Elena (Tami), and Sophia, who brought her endless joy and happiness.

A true fighter and hard worker, Elena showed remarkable strength and courage until her very last breath. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace and reunited with her beloved husband.

Elena will be genuinely and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion will live on forever.
