Eleanore Grace Payne

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday June 22, 2025 in her 101st year. Born Eleanore Grace Nash December 2%, 1924, in Little Britain Ontario. She called Weston her home from the age of 6 months. She had a life well lived.

Devoted wife of the late Kirk Payne. Proud mother of Murray (Sharon) and Mona (Michael). Cherished Grandmother to Derek (Meike), Melissa (David), Alison (Rob), Leanne, deceased (Casey), Brent, and Ryan.

Loving Great Grandmother of 11. Eleanore will be sadly missed by her sister Phyllis and her many family members and friends. She has now been reunited with the love of her life Kirk. Eleanore will be fondly remembered for her love of cards, and the 40 years of cottage life at Clearwater Beach she always enjoyed. Eleanore also relished 30 plus years of annual winter trips to Daytona beach with friends and family and all the people she met there Canadian & American year after year.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Rd., Toronto on Thursday June 26* from 9:30 a.m. until the service at 10:30

a.m. followed by a luncheon.

Interment will take place at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation will be acknowledged by the family.
