Eikaterina Lena Chipil

CHIPIL, EIKATERINA “LENA” (nee TSAMOUTALI), passed away suddenly but peacefully in Maple, Ontario at the age of 87, on August 5, 2012. Predeceased by her cherished husband John Chipil, beloved sisters, Panagiota (Yiota) Lidakis and Stamatia (Tina) Cosmas and dear nephew George Negrepontis.
She will be dearly missed by her sister Zoe and brother-in-law, Antony Douvis, niece Angela and Saverio DiMondo and family, nephew Peter Cosmas and family. Our sincere thanks to the staff at Sherwood Court for their attentiveness and wonderful care provided to Lena in the past couple of years. May God bless our darling aunt.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr) 905-851-9100, on Tuesday, from 2-4pm & 6-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1 Brookhaven Dr., Toronto on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 10am. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines.
