The family announces with sorrow his passing on May 05, 2014 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Joan for 61 plus years. Dear father to Kenneth, Robert and Ross. Father in law to Elsa and Barb. Ted enjoyed a long and happy life in England and Canada. He was a 38 year long employee of Kodak in Mt. Dennis. Ted was a dedicated family man who travelled extensively with his beloved wife. He also was community minded, coaching various minor hockey and soccer teams. He was also involved with Scouts Canada. In his retirement years Ted was instrumental in looking after Joan who overcame several battles with cancer. The family will receive friends at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave. W) Weston on Friday May 9, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Ward Chapel on Saturday May 10, 2014 at 11:30 am. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated.
