Edna Lawrence

Lawrence, Edna Margaret (nee Muirhead) – passed away quietly, after a short illness, on December 24th, 2010, at the Trillium Health Centre, in her 94th year.

Edna was a long-term resident of West Deane Park, a dedicated employee of the Borough of Etobicoke and a volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Jack (1998), son James (2010) and six siblings. Loving mother of Alice Kelley, Bob and Muriel Lawrence and Mary and Burke Denison. Cherished by her grandchildren John, Jason, Scott, Jim, Jed, Michael, Eric, Chuck, Billy, Virginia, and her 14 great grandchildren.

It is with gratitude, we thank the staff of Trillium for their care of Edna. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 480 Rathburn Road, Etobicoke on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
