Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2011 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Ruth for over 60 years. Dear father of Kelly (Rick) Tomlinson, and Lori (Richard) Wood. Loving grandfather of Angela, Brett, David and Matthew. Greatgrandfather of Tristan. A funeral service has taken place at Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton. Interment followed at the Brampton Cemetery. Special thanks to the Nurses and staff at Brampton Civic Hospital, for the care he received during his stays over the past year, and many thanks to Spectrum Home Care. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brampton Civic Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
