Douglas Ellis

After a long battle with cancer, fought with bravery and humour our courageous & loving father, Doug Ellis is finally at peace. He was a very special man who touched many lives with his outgoing personality and compassionate heart. He was always a New Brunswick man at heart who loved fishing, camping, bowling and later in life golfing. He can now join his wife of 47 years who predeceased him in 2003, the fiery redheaded Irish girl Anne, who stole his heart at the age of 18. He raised three beautiful daughters who will miss him immensely. He leaves behind his daughter, Heather and spouse Mike King, his daughter, Sharon and spouse Ron Romanko, and daughter, Gail and spouse Paul Praturlon. Along with his grandchildren Jennifer, Tiffany, David, Leah, Stephanie, Daniel, Alexander and Dayna. Great grandchildren Maddison, Trey, Keegan, Marcus and Laila. As well as long-time friend Vera Schaus.

He will be missed greatly by all.
