Doug Gilmore

Gilmore, Doug – after a long and full life, passed away on Sunday, March 31st, 2013 at the age of 80. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joanne. Loving father of Ross (Dawna) and Liz (Michael) Misener. Cherished and unique Grandpa to Evan, Connor, Sidney, Sara and Kaela. Doug will be deeply missed by his companion Sandy Steele, his extended family and many friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Wednesday from 4-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at St. Philips Anglican Church, 31 St. Philips Road, Toronto on Thursday at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to either the Parkinson Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
