Purnell, Dorothy – peacefully after a long and full life on Friday, July 20th, 2012 at the William Osler Health Centre – Etobicoke Campus in her 87th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband John. Loving mother of Judith (Dan) Horton, James (Mary) and Janice (Rod) McMillan. Cherished grandma of Leanne, Laura, the late James, Robert, Daniel, Katie, Kristian, and great grandchildren Madison, Mason and the late Noah. Dear sister of Harold (Shirley) Craig, sister in law Sharon (Tony) Felice and predeceased by siblings Cliff, Myrtle and Delrose. Dot will be forever loved and missed by all her family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Sunday from 6 – 9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 2:30 p.m. A private family interment to take place. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the William Osler Health Centre Foundation – Etobicoke Campus ICU or Brampton Civic – Pediatric Unit would be greatly appreciated.
