Dorothy Boyde

Boyde, Dorothy went to be with Jesus on January 16, 2017 at the age of 95. Dorothy was born in Barrow-In-Furness, England, but grew up, married and lived in Toronto for most of her life. She spent the last 9 years living in Alberta near her sons. Dorothy was very involved in the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene in Toronto.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons Wayne and Glenn (Arlene) and grandchildren Deah (Jorge) and Darren (Melissa) and great grandchildren Liam, Jenae, Miles and Mackenzie.
Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Baxter, her father and mother William and Miriam McArthur and close uncle James McArthur.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Tuesday, January 24 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be on January 25th at 1:00 pm in the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a contribution in Dorothy’s memory to a charity showing love to people in need in your community.
