Dorothy Allen

Peacefully in her sleep Jan 31, 2017. Dorothy was an exquisite study of grace, integrity and loyalty. She will be sorely missed by her children, Bill(Susan), Heather(Young) and Holly(Millar), her eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Her unflagging support of all her immediate and extended family and any of their endeavors was a testament to her belief that family was everything. Dorothy’s “lucky, lucky, lucky” phrase was derided by many, but those who knew her were content in the knowledge that there was little luck involved in terrific outcomes for the aspirations or good fortune of family or friends because of the firm belief that it was her essential goodness and strength of character that guided the outcomes.
