With deep sorrow, the family of Doris Lawson announces the death of their much loved matriarch in her 90th year. In the comfort of her devoted family, Doris died peacefully on her wedding anniversary. She and her late husband Richard, Bramalea residents for 48 years and married for 65 years, built a loving home and a lifetime of happy memories. Loving mother of Josie (Ken Hammond), Judith (John Prendergast), Pamela, Stuart (Maeve Benson) and Penny. Cherished grandmother of Charmaine, Adele, Melanie, Jennifer, Philip, Brent and Stephanie and great-grandmother of Ashley and James. Doris will be fondly remembered by her family in the U.K. and friends here in Canada. Funeral services were held at Ward Funeral Home 'Brampton Chapel' on November 26, 2013. Cremation followed at Meadowvale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
