Unexpectedly on Thursday October 18, 2012 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Edward for 57 years. Loving mother of Derrick (Lori), Dennis, Eddy (Pauline), Wayne (Susie), Paul (Cindy), and Wendy (Leo O’Connor). Cherished Nana of Derrick, Amber, Leanne, Nicole, Erin, Rebecca, Jesse, Candice, Zachary, Christopher, Chelsea, Shane, Dylan, Ryan, Shawn. Great-Nanny of Hunter, Hailey, and Brayden. Survived by her sisters Alice (Al), Sue (Ivan), Bet and her brother Dave (Marilyn). Doreen will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church (80 Shoreham Dr.) on Monday, October 22, 2012 @ 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
