Doreen Elizabeth D'Arcy

Doreen Elizabeth D'Arcy (Goodkey, nee Davidson), lovingly known as Grandma, Grammy, Ma, Aunt Dos, Torchie, passed away on February 4, 2024, in Brampton, Ontario, after 100 great years of life. She was born on November 30, 1923, in Hybla, Ontario to Benjamin and Sophia Davidson. Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard, second husband Earl, as well as her sisters Evelin, Marie, Edith, Isabel, Murial, Marybelle and brothers Tom, Ben, Hughie, and daughter-in-law Fran.

Doreen is survived by her daughter Lynda (Bryon), son Marty, granddaughters Michelle (Connie), Leah (Colin), Sarah (Rick), Angi (Chris), Alissa (Mike), and her beloved great-grandchildren Noah, Rebecca, Mark, Beth, Owen, and Donovan.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at St. James the Apostle (3 Cathedral Road, Brampton ON  L6W 2P1). The gathering will begin at 10:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am.

Doreen will be remembered for her kind heart, loving nature and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
