Doreen Dick

February 9, 1937 - July 4, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Doreen Dick at the age of 87. A beloved mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by her son, Brian, daughter-in-law, Kelly, grandchildren Jason (Brittany), Jennifer (Emil), Carly (Phil) and Cameron (Ariel); step grandsons Kyle and Parker. Doreen is predeceased by her husband, Ross, son David, daughter, Janet Jones (the late Norm Jones). She is also predeceased by her dear sister, Margaret Goldhawk. 

Doreen grew up in Blenheim, Ontario and moved to Toronto where she lived in the same Etobicoke home over 60 years. Doreen or "Dee" as she was affectionately known was lucky to have many treasured friendships with whom she shared a lot great times, raising families, travelling and socializing. She also had a great fondness for animals, especially cats. She will be remembered for her kind and generous nature and the love she had for her family and friends. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and loved to hear of their accomplishments. 

Doreen was at her happiest sitting in the backyard with the sun on her face, looking at her beautiful garden and listening to the birds. She is forever in our hearts.
