It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother/Nana Doreen Barber/Beckett on Wednesday September 29, 2021 at the age of 93 years. Born June 15,1928 to loving parents William & Ruby Burns.

Loving wife to Harry Barber (1949-1992) and Kenneth Beckett (2001-2014)

Proud Mother of, David & (Laila) Barber, Martin & (Debbie) Barber and Philip Barber, Nana to Dawn & (Randy) Hopkin, Jennifer & (Scott) Hayden, Ross & (Kathleen) Barber and Daniel & (Lauren) Barber. Great Nana to, Riley, Felix, Callie, Kellan & Hazel Hopkin, Jimmy & Cody Hayden, Keely & Isla Barber and Charlotte Barber

Doreen was the Sister to; Albert & (Edith) Burns, Vicky & (Ronald) Bryant and John Burns & (Florence Brewster)

She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her and those she loved. The family would also like to Thank all the staff at the Village of Humber Heights for providing such loving care and support to the end. A funeral service will be held on Friday October 8th .

Due to Covid19 restrictions the service will only be attended by Family. Friends are invited to pay their respects between 12pm & 12:30pm. At Wards Funeral Home in Weston. Please contact the family to be put on the list to assist Wards for contact tracing.
