Donna Ruth Mcfarland

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our matriarch Donna Ruth "Granny"McFarland at the age of 91 on Monday, April 17, 2023. Loving wife of the late Joseph McFarland. Adored mother of Elizabeth, Laura (Dave) & Michelle. Cherished Grandmother of Danielle, Lea-Anne, Jonathan (Tessandra), Michael (Michelle), Holly (Jordon), Taylor (Vanessa), Nathanial & Olivia. Proud great grandmother of Kendall, Harper, Tristan, Dillon, Aiden, Ethan, Kennedy, Zoey, Austin & Sydney. Dear sister of the late Vern (Mary) & Peter (Monika). She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family.

Donna enjoyed countless hours of playing solitaire & doing jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed a good rum & coke. In Donna's younger years she would cherish her nights of bowling or following the warmer weather by traveling south. She enjoyed going to the casino and was known to have made her way to Las Vegas a time or two. Known to some as the Queen of British Monarchy history. Donna loved country music & anything sweet.

She lived each day to its fullest and represented all that is good in life. She will be forever loved and sorely missed. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Donna's life will take place in the near future.
