Donna Marianne Hebid

Peacefully in her sleep on January 12, 2023, Donna Marianne Hebid (nee Jones) was reunited with her beloved husband John at the age of 82. She lived out her last few years in Kipling Acres Long Term Care Home in Rexdale, near where they raised their family so many years ago.

She leaves behind her loving daughter Lisa, sons James and Kevin (Lisa) and four cherished grandchildren, Spencer, Emmett, Olivia and Captain Michael Locksley-Hebib, Royal Canadian Regiment. She will be dearly missed by her only brother Wilfred (Theresa) Jones.

The family wishes to thank the nurses, PSWs, doctors and her many friends who lovingly cared for her. Never shy about speaking her mind, she was dubbed one of the home’s “Golden Girls” who knew how to make everyone laugh with her often blunt opinions.

Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society in Donna’s Honour.

A memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, January 22nd, from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Ward Funeral Home on Monday, January 23rd at 10:00 a.m.

A private family burial will take place.
