Donato Facchini

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donato on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at the age of 82. Cherished brother of Luigia Nocella, Tony Facchini (Mary) and Marie (Frank Polsinelli). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Born in Balsorano, Italy to loving parents Santina and Vincenzo who he is now reunited with.

Don had an amazing memory. He could tell you anyone's birthday without thinking about it! He loved to explore and travel. He was known to hop on a bus to places like Montreal or Vancouver just to say he’s been there. His day was never complete without a trip to Tim Hortons for a cup of coffee and a donut. Don always looked forward to his daily conversations with his dear friend Shirley.

Our family will be forever grateful to all the caring people who helped Donato along his many journeys in life.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 20th, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish 300 Ansley Grove Rd., Woodbridge. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
