Passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on Thursday, September 19, 2013 surrounded by his children. Predeceased by his soul mate and dance partner Barbara Joan (nee Allan). Loving and cherished father of Kathy and Paul Caspar, Debbie and Vic Lietz, Scott and Sue Taylor. Awesome Papa to Michael, Evan (Penny), Julie, Heather, Shannon, Lucas and Holly. Survived by his loving sister June, and big brother to Patricia (Bob) Morton and Rick (Rose) Allan. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, “Our Gang”, friends, volunteers and those whose lives he has touched during his life. His children are indebted to Pat and Joyce Conway, Dr. Howard J. Goldstein and the amazing doctors and nurses for their compassion, support and care over the past 40 years.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Sunday, from
7-9pm and Monday from 2-4 & 7-9p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 10:30a.m. in the chapel
