Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 18th, 2015 at Dorothy Ley Hospice at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Gwen. Devoted father of the late Donna, Cathy (Michael) Horrocks, Gail and Gwen’s daughters Joan King, Barb McGahey and Diane (Joe) Menecola. Loving grandpa of Dylan, Kaja, Jennifer, Jessica, Laura, Leanne, Stefan, Andrew and Joey. Don will sadly missed by all his extended family and numerous friends who loved him.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dorothy Ley Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
