Domenico “Mico” Sorrenti

Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the age of 93. Devoted husband to Theresa for 67 wonderful years, proud father of Alba, Marina, and Luigi, cherished Nonno of Michael, Paul, Lisa, Peter, Shiloh, Summer, and Mercy. Father in-law to Serena Sorrenti and the late Tony Foggia. Domenico will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.

Known for his strong voice and heart. Mico Sorrenti was a charismatic, generous, and reliable man. He retired from his position at the shipping department of A&P bakery in Toronto after over 30 years of hard and honest work. His home reflected his passion for gardening and genuine love of nature. He will be remembered as the life of the party and a provider for two generations.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Friday from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 till service time at 12 noon. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven.
