Domenico (Meni) Cancian

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Domenico (Meni) Cancian who peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the age of 94. Dearly beloved husband and lifelong companion of Zaira. Loving father of Cynthia and her husband Val. Cherished Nonno of Nicole and Emily. Domenico is predeceased by his sister Marisa. He will be lovingly remembered by his nephew, niece, and their families in Italy.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home – Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 2-3 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 3 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
