Domenic Facciolo

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Domenic Facciolo on Thursday, December 11, 2025. After a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Domenic passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospice.

Born on June 3, 1958, Domenic grew up in Toronto’s Roncesvalles neighbourhood with his parents, Angela and Giuseppe Facciolo. He cherished his childhood years and the strong roots instilled by his hardworking immigrant parents.

Domenic is deeply missed by his loving and devoted wife, Megan, and his six beloved children: Angelyn (Tony Fera), Joseph (Teresa Itri), Becky (Rob Legate), Emma (Brandon Leahy), Katie, and Curtis. He was a proud Nonno to Stefano, Giorgio, Baker, Siena, and Elliott, and he was joyfully anticipating the arrival of the newest Facciolo baby this month.

He is lovingly remembered by his siblings and siblings-in-law: Teresa Ali (the late Domenic), Rose Salerno (the late Emilio), Ester Ali (Rocco), Isabelle DiTaranto (Renato), and Mary Pedone (Frank). “Zio Mimmo” will be deeply missed by his many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues.

Dom’s career with Ford Motor Company spanned 46 years, during which he held numerous roles—from salesman to Dealer Principle, and most recently, General Manager. His easygoing nature, integrity, and passion earned him immense respect in the automotive industry. He valued his customers and treated each one as a friend.

In his leisure time, Domenic enjoyed travelling, golfing, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends.

He will be profoundly missed, and we will continue to be inspired by his dedication, kindness, and passion for life.
