Dennis DeRamos Guipit passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Brampton Civic Hospital in Brampton, Ontario, on October 7, 2026. He was born on February 19, 1968, in the Philippines. His passing brings deep sorrow to those who knew and loved him, while his life remains a source of gratitude and cherished memories for his family.
At the center of Dennis’s life was his family. He shared 33 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Cynthia, and together they built a family that was a lasting source of pride and joy. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Maria Lurlaine Guipit (Ernest Jovan Caesar), Zoila Denisse Guipit (Connor Joseph Chumley), Carl Dave Guipit (Genelyn Ramos), and Jemimah Guipit. Dennis was a proud “Daddylo” to his granddaughter Alainna, and he was excitedly awaiting the arrival of a new baby boy, a grandson already held close in his heart. Dennis is also survived by his sisters, Zenalyne Baluyot, Ladylene Baluyot, and Adelyne Guipit. He is also deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family and many nieces and nephews.
Dennis and Cynthia left a successful business in biomedical equipment and moved their family from the Philippines in 2013 to a new life in Canada. He was an accomplished handyman who greatly enjoyed building and fixing things. Generous with his time, he could often be found helping his neighbours with their projects. He was also a talented musician and frequently the life of the party, able to play the piano, guitar and drums, with a deep love of music. He enjoyed cooking, too, and took pleasure in preparing meals that family and friends loved to share. In his rare downtime, he enjoyed movies and TV. He was a loving husband and father, a gentleman and a great friend. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
