Deborah Smith

Deborah (Debbie) Ann Smith passed away peacefully on October 27th, 2025, at Toronto Western Hospital at the age of 55 surrounded by her loved ones. Deborah was born in Toronto on September 4th, 1970, to Louise Lorraine (Toulouse) Smith and Augustus Smith. Dear sister to Bernard Smith (predeceased), Donna Sound and Barry Smith. Loving mother to Katrina Smith (predeceased), Kelly Smith, Candace Smith, Brandy Saikkonen, Brandon Saikkonen (predeceased), Selena Niemela and Keegan Niemela. Grandmother to Ricardo, Keith, Amira, Mia and Kayce.

Deborah was a devoted sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Her laughter and warmth radiated to those who were fortunate enough to know her. Deborah loved life and took great pride in the people she brought into the world, her children. Deborah enjoyed cooking, her music and good company. Though her life was cut short at the age of 55, we take solace in knowing she is not suffering anymore and keeping her memory alive in conversation.
