It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David John Collins, son of deceased parents Howard and Marlene Collins in his 56th year. David will be extremely missed by his brothers Darren (Judy) and Scott (Sharon). David leaves behind a daughter Emily, niece Samantha (Dan), nephew Sean (Joana), plus many aunts, uncles and cousins. David was a longtime employee at the Ontario Food Terminal where he had many lifelong friendships. His work ethic was solid and to be admired. Davids’ passions were F1 racing, living and breathing the Toronto Blue Jays. Ferrari was his life, those red, yellow and black colors defined his life. If you had a dog, David wanted to be their friend. He loved his brothers’ dogs and also any dog he met on the street. David also participated in some overseas rescues for Full Circle Dog Rescue. Sitting by a lake of river brought him peace and serenity, allowing him to get past many of life’s challenges.
