David Donald Chatterton

David Donald Chatterton died peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on December 11, 2025. Born Maurice Donald Chatterton February 4, 1944 to the late Horace and Dorothy Chatterton in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. He lived in Wombwell, Yorkshire, England from the age of about six months until they returned to Eastern Canada at his age of 16. He was also predeceased by baby brother Paul and his twin brother, Horace. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Gayle; daughters: Charlene Minns (Bill), Ginette Chatterton, and Heather Chatterton. Proud of his seven grandchildren: Racheal Kay (Tim), Alexander Chatterton, Joshua Minns, Sonny Downey, Travis Downey, Maxwell Downey, and Emma Downey and super excited to welcome his great grandson, Arthur David Kay. He will also be missed by his surviving three brothers, Uncle Harry (England), numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. 

Visitation starts at 10:00 a.m. EST at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 10062 Bramalea Road (Bovaird), Brampton followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. EST in the chapel. Interment at Brampton Memorial Gardens (Heritage Gardens), 10061 Chinguacousy Road (Bovaird), Brampton.
