It is with and ache in our hearts that we announce the passing of David Bowie on August 2, 2013. David is survived by wife Barbara, son Stephen (Candice) and daughter Sara (Mike Brougham). Beloved grandpa to Tiarrah, David, Callum and Emma Lea. David was an avid sportsman who will be missed by the many who had the pleasure of playing 18 holes with him. He will also be missed by the soccer community where he spent endless hours mentoring and helping young people develop their skills. He will always be a member of the Red Devils. His years spent in hockey arenas reflected his passion for the sport, the games, practices and tournaments brought him much joy throughout the years.

David was a man of few words, but his personality was larger than life. He will always be remembered for that, along with his sense of humour and his never faltering dedication to his children. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August 10, 2013 at 2pm from Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, Brampton.
